Let's get to know each other better, shall we?

I'm an NYU Certified Coach, leadership executive with 20 years worth of business experience, a first-generation Latina, and a working mama. My path has been anything but easy or linear - in fact - it's been the total opposite. I've been through so much and I'm here to support you on your journey too, as you navigate your life and work in an ever-changing, dynamic world.

My Story

Welcome! I'm Sarah and I'm so thrilled you're here. I love supporting others and I can't wait to help you on your journey! You may be wondering who I am and how I got here.

I spent a good portion of my life figuring things out on my own. Lots of trial and error, taking calculated risks, failing and succeeding, and working hard and nurturing relationships (which are two things that have always come easy to me). I was raised to be fiercely independent and asking for help wasn't something I was accustomed to.

I spent a lot of my early years on my own and with my siblings as our single mom worked all the time to make ends meet. We had to grow up fast and I began working as a young teenager. I loved working - it was always fun to me to provide value, learn new things, and serve customers. This love for learning and working hard helped me through my college years and landing my dream job right out of college on a marketing team at a major record label in New York City.

I had no special connections, no one ever gave anything to me. I worked hard and nurtured relationships, and also wasn't afraid of taking chances. And this ability to be fiercely independent and make it my own way worked for me for the first decade of my post-college professional life. I was able to grow in my roles, earn more money, and work in leadership roles at major organizations like Warner Music Group, NBCUniversal, and Disney.

But once I hit my early 30's, I felt stuck. For the first time in my life, I felt like I needed some support because I had some challenges I struggled figuring out on my own. I had been working with a therapist to heal wounds from my past, and felt ready to move forward in my life. And that's when I discovered coaching. After working with my coach for just 3 months, my life began to change in really amazing ways. I grew more confident in my decision-making, got really clear about who I was and what I wanted in my life and career, and starting to feel like I was finally thriving - not just surviving.

I felt like a new person. And after that profound experience, I felt a strong urge to learn the art and skill of coaching so that I could be of service to others and support them on their journey's, too.

In 2015 I earned my coaching certification from NYU and have been coaching individuals and teams ever since. I've worked with professionals from companies including (but not limited to) Google, Facebook, Audible, LinkedIn, Uber, Pinterest, Starbucks, EHE Health, and many, many more. I've designed and facilitated corporate wellness and skills-based training programs for a variety of industries at national and international companies. I also recently started a new offering supporting Latinx mental wellness, which you can learn more about here.
